My Life, Upside Down
So I’m lying down with my feet in the air because that’s the only way the blood rushes out of my feet, and this feeling is better than sitting on a beach in Fiji with a piña colada and a slice of chocolate cake while getting sunscreened up by a hot cabana boy.
But laying on my back with my feet lifted above my head, while the highlight of my day, makes blogging kind of difficult. I need to glue my laptop to my pants, but I just don’t see how that would work in the long term. Laptops don’t go in the wash.
That’s why I’m going to close this laptop and wish you all a Tuesday in which you experience joy equivalent to the joy I feel with my feet elevated.
Because when I put them down? Guys, I’m not going to lie. I’m in pain. You can’t see my face, but this is what it looks like:
I’m serious.
Also, thank you for your tips and advice on yesterday’s post. I was sorry to hear I wasn’t the only one who got cheated by insurance.
Also, here’s a cute baby animal to make up for my Debbie Downer post.

Hey, mama? I has no belly button!

Excuse me, but does this sleepy kitty belong to anyone in here?

Feel better. I can’t imagine being in that position too long seeing as you work from home and I’m sure you’re on your laptop most of the day. Take care of you! In the meantime, you have seen this, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y54yESyq6Io

Sorry it’s not a good day today.
I’ve been watching James Van Der Beek on Funny or Die. But it’s possible I’m way behind on this one… actually, I know it is. But you can always watch it again…

Love the pictures, especially the raccoon with the kitten. Um, awesome. Sorry to hear you’ve got your feet up in the air today! My teammates used to do that to drain the lactic acid from their legs after races. I always found it amusing to have 8 women all lined up with their legs straight up against the wall. I wish sitting upside down would take the pain away from my BRAIN!

Oh yeah, no upside down for brain aches. That just makes mine worse.

You should probably post more pictures of cute kittens. Like every day.

I love the picture of the baby animal looking for it’s belly button and the mom legs in the background make me laugh a bit.
Sorry your feet are causing so much pain. As for something funny, hmmmm, well, my Star Wars obsessed 11 year old was upset with me this morning and told me, “you will pay for your treachery”. Made me laugh.

Oh Tracey, I think we were both cursed with the most unique health problems…ever. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this! What a pain in the ass. I really, really hope you find some kind of relief soon!!
I have been seeing an accupuncturist for about a month now and he’s making slow progress on my eczema. It’s an expensive proposition (and one insurance doesn’t cover) but maybe it’s something for you to look into as well. I know you’ve tried it before but maybe a new doctor could help?

Thanks, Ameena. I’m sorry you’re dealing with your illnesses too! I really hope this acupuncture helps you. I know it’s a slow process, but maybe in time it’ll heal up.
