A Tease

This was my thought process Saturday night at 7 p.m. after cleaning and organizing and cleaning since 10 a.m.

I have a lot of skin care, hair care, and makeup products I’ve never, ever used thanks to my beauty editor days.

Maybe I will use them.

No, no I won’t.

So what?

This is clutter. It’s what’s taking up precious, precious space.

But what if I want it again someday?

You won’t. It needs to go.

What will I do with it then? Just throw it all out? What a waste.

No, I’ll give it all away.

But who can I give this to, really?

My loyal, faithful, amazing readers. Yes.

Yes.

I’m saying this is a tease because it’s not happening this week. But just know that in the upcoming weeks there will be a huge, epic, ginormous giveaway week of beauty products that will make you cry sweet tears of joy. It may coincide with my 200th post, which would be, of course, cooler than cool.

That’s all you’re getting for now. I know, I’m a tease.

In the mean time, name your can’t-live-without beauty product. You know, that makeup, skin-care item, or hair-care product that you’d try to smuggle into jail.

I have a hard time throwing away extra hair products, too…you just never know, right?!

I cannot live without mascara. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and I like to make sure I have curtains on those windows.

I love that too! My item I have to have is mascara too. I would give up all other beauty products for it. :)

Wow, you guys love your mascara. Was I the only girl with breakouts who’d die for her concealer? I guess so.

Gosh, I keep so many beauty product but I dont use any of them. I guess mascara and foundation would be my main concerns. (although I probally only use them once a week)

I loooove BB cream. I think it’s a totally Asian thing, when my mother and my sister went crazy when visiting Seoul, and bought loads of BB cream which was on sale. It makes my skin look awesomely pale… I know. Weird Asians, WANTING to look pale!

I wish that’s how it were in America. I’d be, like, so cool. All this tan worship is hard for pale girl like me. Maybe I should move to Asia.

I am so pathetic with my beauty regime. I use a moisturizer with SPF 30 and then I wear masacara. Pathetic I know!

Oh, I’m such a corny mom. I can’t live without Vaseline and Chapstick. I suppose I should upgrade to more, uh, fancy beauty products?

I always need some type of foundation, and also my Laura Mercier eyeliner and Mac eye shadow. I could go on and on…I also have more make up and skin care products than I will ever need/use. I have a bit of an addiction. But most of them have been used at least once so I can’t give them away….I just need to throw most of it out. It feels so sad and wasteful though!

Not a bad problem to have! How fun. I love playing dress up, lol.

Smashbox’s O-GLOW. Even when I am tan from the sun, it find the right color for my cheeks to give me a fresh glow.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash! Love this stuff, cannot live without it. It is the greatest mascara ever. Make my lashes long and thick without feeling stiff and spikey!

Oh, I’m a total beauty junkie! I can’t even look at Sephora’s website anymore due to my compulsive purchasing :) My beauty must-have: CoverGirl Lash Blast. It’s cheap, easy to remove, and gives me doe-eyes. Philosophy lip glosses also rock the boat and smell delicious!

Wow. I confess I have no “beauty ” products. My money “situation” has reduced me to cheap shampoo/soap/toothpaste…not cool . If I won a bunch of beauty products I think I would pass out in disbelief.
(p.s. neat to see the man make an appearance in your last post..a cute one u have).

I would probably die with out Clinique mascara. And yes it must be clinique because it is hypoallergenic and I’m just weird like that. Cant wait to see what goodies you have! :)

Probably my lipstick that is the only make-up product that I’ve used up and bought again without getting sick of it and throwing it away. Or my neutrogena microderm or proactiv anti-blemish or…
