I’m afraid I live in Northern California, so I’m one of those lucky ones that live in temperate climates you envy. However, temperate for the last month or so in the Sierra mountains consists of temps in the low 40s. And, I’m over 50, so my skin has become much drier than it ever was before, just by virtue of age. Thanks for all the great advice about ways to mitigate dry, itchy, flaky skin. Experience really is the best teacher.

Oh, and by the way — you’re a fabulous writer. Love the humor!

God – I love your blog!! I just caught up with the last 3 articles – excellent on yoga!! and oh my God – jenn Aniston curvy —I am so sick of Hollywood and the media…it’s either too skinny, too hefty, pregnant…makes me sick…Mariah Carey is CURVY , not Jenn Anniston or any of those Friends girls…blah sorry I have to write something on this to get out my feelings!

I have uber-dry skin…I’m like a lizard so moisturizer is my BEST friend haha. I have to add you to my blog roll. Love it girl

Ah…I definitely take super hot showers, and sometimes they can be pretty lengthy. I love showers! I do moisturize immediately afterwards though!
