We have an awesome collapsible brew basket called The Tuffy Steeper that makes it SO easy to use loose leaf tea, even at your desk at work. Check it out here! http://www.theteaspot.com/tuffy-tea-steeper-steepware.html

Joanna--that Tazo Joy tea sounds really great. For anyone interested, you can find it here.

Sagan--I too love white tea, though I usually pick one that has fruit in it. Alone, the white tea is a little too mild for me.

I LOVE tea! I pretty much get all of my liquids throughout my day via tea. I tend to drink white tea the most; I really like the light flavour. I recently found a white chai tea which is SO good. No need to add anything to a cup of tea, either; it's best straight-up!

I'm a huge tea fan, too....especially in the winter. It's like comfort food. Sort of. I'm a fan of plain ole green tea and Joy tea by Tzao around the holidays as it's a hearty blend of 3 teas...that warms my bones and helps fill me up.

I agree ... Lipton has a strangely chemical smell. Ick. I can't drink mine with milk, though The Man loves his like that.

As a Brit I'd like to offer my expert opinion that tea is absolutely, without doubt, the most spiffing drink ever. However, let's be clear that Lipton is not tea (muck, more like) and that black tea should only be drunk with milk (not naked, thanks very much, and on no account with half-and-half!).

Seriously, I do love my tea. Earl Grey is a favorite but Twinings do a very nice selection box including Lady Grey, Irish Breakfast and a couple of others. The best tea I ever had was Typhoo's Early Grey with Vanilla but sadly I think that died a death.
I do drink green tea occasionally (health benefits, yawn) but the only herbal tea I really enjoy is called SleepyTime, by Celestial Seasonings. Even the box it comes in is cute and it doesn't make me sleepy - just a nice tea for any time of day.

I've never heard of Clipper teas before. I love basic green tea, so I think I'll order some from that brand. For anyone else interested, here's Clipper of England Organic Green Tea with Ginseng.
Great post! I love, love tea. I used to drink it all the time. I need to get back in the habit. I particularly like Clipper's Green Tea with Ginko. I also enjoy celestial's cinnamon apple spice tea.
